Northampton's "home of Country, Rockabilly, Honky Tonk, Western Swing and all stops along the way" Cow Island Music presents J.P. Harris and the Tough Choices and the Starline Rhythm Boys at 7PM on Thursday May 17 at the Iron Horse in Northampton

Iron Horse 5-17-12
On Thursday May 17th two of Cow Island's hardest hitting bands will be preaching the Honky Tonk Truth at the Iron Horse in Northampton.  Nashville's JP Harris and the Tough Choices will be celebrating the release of their debut album I'll Keep Calling. To add additional firepower to the line-up, the Starline Rhythm Boys will be making a rare trip over the border from Vermont. Those of you who attended the Cow Island Anniversary party last Fall know the Boys from the Green Mountain State can deliver the knockout punch.

I'll Keep Calling by JP Harris and the Tough Choices debuted at #1 on the April Freeform American Roots Chart. in April! Yes, somehow music always sounds sweeter on the radio... maybe because you know your like-minded earthly brethren are listening at the very same time.

JP and the Tough Choices are currently touring the US on the heels of strong shows in Austin during SXSW.  Here are a couple of returns from the road:

" was apparent that none of that newfangled alt-country stuff would be emanating from the stage: Harris is armed with a rich voice built for classic Nashville country music, and that's exactly what the tight band-featuring a killer lead guitar player-played over the course of the next two hours"  -Stephan Seigel, Tuscon Weekly

Tickets for J.P. Harris and the Tough Choices and the Starline Rhythm Boys on Thursday May 17th at the Iron Horse Music Hall, 20 Center Street, Northampton, Mass are available at Northampton Box Office, 76 Main Street, 413-586-8686, and online at  5:30 pm doors and dinner, 7:00 pm show
