Chris Difford of SQUEEZE Monday night at the Iron Horse!!

Chris Difford was a founding member of Squeeze, one of the best-loved acts of the ‘70s and ‘80s. As the lyric-writing half of the band’s creative duo, he long ago established his credentials as an authority on songwriting. That's why many don't consider it sacrilege to mention his and collaborator Glenn Tilbrook's names among the great English songwriting pairs such as Lennon and McCartney. Chris Difford's latest album, The Last Temptation of Chris, easily sits with the best work of Squeeze. Funny & evocative songs, some personal some not so personal, see Chris at the top of his game. Just like Ray Davies & Glenn Tilbrook, Chris is a national treasure in England, and this is one of the records of the year and some of the best songs of Chris's career.
