N.E.R.D. featuring Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo come to Pearl Street Saturday March 1st!

They straddle the fence of mainstream and off the beaten path, of hip hop, alt. rock and funk rock, They are Smart Rappers
N.E.R.D., Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo (both of The Neptunes whose beats and record production changed the sound of hip hop as we know it), and Shay Haley prove to be deeper thinkers, at least more than your average mainstream rap stars when you ask the band about their name. "What is a N.E.R.D? N.E.R.D stands for No One Ever Really Dies. The Neptunes are who we are and N.E.R.D is what we do. It's our life. N.E.R.D is just a basic belief, man. People's energies are made of their souls. When you die, that energy may disperse but it isn't destroyed. Energy cannot be destroyed. It can manifest in a different way but even then it's like their souls are going somewhere. If it's going to heaven or hell or even if it's going into a fog or somewhere in the atmosphere to lurk unbeknownst to itself, it's going somewhere." – Pharrell Williams

Although their lyrics are not very complex or political, staying simple and playful, their incredible beats and high level of production quality make their live shows unique and full of energy, appealing to hip hop, alt. rock, funk and rap fans. Take a listen for yourself

You can see them live at Pearl Street Nightclub Saturday, March 1st @ 8:30pm and you can buy tickets here.

Does this concert have an age limit, or is it all ages? My cousin absolutely loves N*E*R*D and I'd love to take her.

The show is 12+ so if your cousin is older than 12 then you're good to go!
