The Iron Horse Music Hall opened its doors in Northampton on February 24th, 1979 and has celebrated its anniversary every year since. Our 29th anniversary show is this Sunday, February 24th at 7PM. It’s an intimate celebration with four artists spanning several generations that embody the acoustic side of the Iron Horse's heritage, all onstage together trading songs and stories. All four of them happen to record for the valley’s own Signature Sounds, a record label that has been one of the major catalysts for homegrown music in Western Massachusetts. Chris Smither, Kris Delmhorst, Pete Mulvey, and Signature’s latest signing Caroline Herring each bring their own perspectives to a show that’s sure to feel like a fireside gathering. Tickets.
