WMUA at UMass and WOZQ at Smith College won't let 7 miles and a bridge keep them from uniting to co-present a whole stack of great shows at the Iron Horse and Pearl Street. The idea came from the realization that there were a lot of bands coming to town from this generations alt/indie canon and that both of these non-commercial college stations play on the air. Even the older acts, like American Music Club, are arguably a previous generation's Mountain Goats. In any case, all these shows will be a great place for the cool kids and grown-ups who still get goose-bumps from 7" singles, to meet, mingle, and groove. Local College Stations WMUA UMass and WOZQ Smith Unite To Bring Great Indie Rock to Northampton!
