During the early part of the decade, Cyclub played a number of legendary shows for us, including slots opening for Ted Leo + Pharmacists, Elefant, and The Moldy Peaches. The band's line-up shifted over the years, but the infectious punk rock energy always remained. In 2004, the local version of the group went on an indefinite hiatus, with Junko participating in other incarnations of Cyclub in Britain and her native Japan.
Thus, it is with great excitement that we announce that Cyclub will be reuniting at the Pearl Street Clubroom this Saturday, October 13th at 8:30pm, for their first show in three years. Toronto garage rockers The Cliks, a fascinating group in their own right, and arty Northampton punks Apocalipstick (what a name!) round out this great Saturday night of rock'n'roll.
