Bang Camaro, the Band that Doesn't Believe In Verses, Rocks Pearl Street Thursday!

With 3 guitarists, a 20 member metal choir, & a full rhythm section, the last thing Boston's Bang Camaro needs on stage is another member. But, that's exactly what they got at their October show at NYC's Bowery Ballroom, when SNL alum Jimmy Fallon unexpectedly stumbled onto the stage, drunkenly demanding that the band launch into The Doors' "Roadhouse Blues." When the request was denied, the two compromised by letting Fallon stay on stage and sing to his heart's content.

It was just another strange turn of events in a short career full of them. What started out as a fun outlet to satisfy the hard rock jones of a couple of Boston indie rockers has turned into a legitimate career that has found the band opening for Def Leppard & Deep Purple, having their songs included in the best-selling Guitar Hero 2 & Rock Band video games, & selling out rock venues throughout the Northeast.

This quote, taken from a 2006 Boston Globe feature, perhaps best sums up the group's charm: "They exude a one-for-all, all-for-one vibe that's weirdly heartwarming & contagious. . .it's like a really drunk 'We Are the World,' but with cooler music. Bang Camaro doesn't believe in verses, just choruses & guitar solos. Only the lighter-raising stuff. After years slogging it out in Boston's indie-rock trenches, where good humor is frowned upon & fun is a four-letter word, the guys know why Bang Camaro is so appealing to so many."

Come experience the wild trip that is Bang Camaro on Thursday, November 8th, when they close out the night following Teton Gravity Research's "Lost and Found" Snow and Skiboard Movie. The first 300 paid customers through the door that night will get a free lift pass to Mt. Snow! Buy tickets HERE.
