Rising R&B star Van Hunt plays the Iron Horse on Saturday July 12th

Talented multi-instrumentalist Van Hunt brings a fresh production and creativity to rhythm & blues, and he'll be sharing his soulful sounds with us at the Iron Horse on Saturday night, July 12th. Hunt made a name for himself as a backing musician and writer for several popular R&B acts in the nineties, but didn't take the lead until he met Randy Jackson of American Idol fame, who became his manager and encouraged his solo career. Since then, he has released three critically acclaimed albums biennially, not hesitating to enjoy the success of a 2007 Grammy Award for his tribute to Sly & the Family Stone. Van Hunt visits the Iron Horse in support of his brand new album Popular which was completed and prepared for release early this year until a label dispute postponed the release date indefinitely. This performance may be a rare opportunity to hear Van Hunt's Popular material before it's lost in legal gridlock. Buy Tickets Here
